Venture Capital: SwanLaab Venture Factory
“Minimum Risk Delivering, Maximum Support to Ventures”
Our activity in Venture Capital is geared towards SWANLAAB Venture Factory (SWL), an innovative VC in Spain which has the goal of empowering, developing and financing the most innovative technology companies at international level. JAL21 is a founding member of SWL, together with other reputable partners and investors, among which IVC (International Venture Consultantes). IVC has a proven experience (+40 years) providing operational support to more than 2,000 companies in their internationalization processes. SWL will invest in “growth” capital, working together with professional entrepreneurs who wish to build solid, scalable and long-lasting companies. Our experience, team, methodology and execution platform minimize risk factors inherent to a new venture, allowing founders to focus on their business’s development and success.
Seed Capital:
“J21 also seeks and invests in innovative technology Start-ups with international potential”
An example of our investments in this field: biGuuD
“biGuuD is an application that helps parents to manage the use of mobile phones by their children.”
By setting up schedules (it is not a content filter, but a complete virtual lock/unlock for the phone), it assures that adolescents use their time to sleep, study and so on, when they have to, using their phone only at the right moments, previously agreed with parents. biGuuD also allows manual unlock, and phone calls to certain previously defined contacts and emergency numbers. In addition to the basic service, it provides more features like geo-location.
